Introduction
‘What kind of parent are you?’ is a fun way for single parents to explore together how they would react in situations often encountered e.g. around the home, in the park and out shopping.
Animated characters, representing single parents, their children and their friends, family, ex-partners etc. present situations that might happen in real life.
You can then discuss with other single parents, and our Parenting Facilitators, how you would feel, react, or behave, in these situations.
We know we are not always model parents, but in discussing strategies with other parents, perhaps this will help us to better cope with those tough situations and maintain a good relationship with our children.
The situations will change regularly, so you can come back to ‘What kind of parent are you?’ time and time again and find new scenarios and new discussions.
